With the release of Knights of the Shield this Friday, July 31st, I am finally seeing the culmination of a dream. I have wanted to be a published author since middle school. My parents have always been ones to stress reading to me when I was young, something I have always loved doing. Amongst all those books and stories, I began to realize that in many cases, I thought I could do better.
Well, what escaped me at the time was that it doesn’t matter if I could do better or not. What matters is that I write, because it’s something I need to do. It has been a very long road from there to here, with a lot of strange quirks along the way, such as meeting the wonderful folks at Pandamoon Publishing through a friend at work. I have finished novel length projects before, but this is the first one submitted and, of course, soon to be published. Many more are waiting in the wings. I see myself walking this road a lot more often in the near future.
So, here it comes, this Friday, July 31st. Knights of the Shield, my debut novel. I hope you all like it as much as I do and get as much out of it as I put into it. I will turn my attention to future projects and await (anxiously) the words of those that have read it. Turn the page, the story continues.
