Magehunter has gotten a little larger than originally expected, but that’s a good thing. The linchpin chapter is finally done, the one fulcrum event that casts the die for the climax and conclusion. With just a few chapters left to go, the light at the end of the tunnel is taking on a brighter look, with some definition of the items in the light. I think, just on the other side of that light, is another tunnel, because there’s many more books to come, in both the Magehunter series and the online offering at Channillo.com, Fallen Angel Detective Agency. That one is rolling along now, already into chapter four and my protagonist is already telling me what’s going on faster than I can imagine it. Let me tell you, Fallen Angels can be a vocal pain in the neck when they want something.
For all of loyalists out there, Knights of the Shield is available on Amazon, please feel free to support a starving artist. Characters from Knights will be appearing in Fallen Angel Detective Agency, which eventually will find its way to my publisher. Long live Luke, long afterlife for Richard. I don’t know yet if Brackett will make the jump, but as it stands now, no. Perhaps though, since nothing is written yet (bad pun the Fallen one made me use).
So, all those projects looming, I guess I’ll get back to work. Good luck, and godspeed all you readers and readerettes out there. Be on the lookout for Magehunter, so close to done. I love the fantasy genre and this one just fell into place. A coming of age story with power, morals, and a lot of fighting through the rough times that life brings everyone. Arn’s teeth! Its good to be almost done!
