As I edge ever closer to finishing Magehunter, seriously, only four or so chapters to finish, I wanted to take the time to, once again, sing the praises about Pandamoon Publishing. This is just a tremendous outfit that does top-notch work for authors. They’ve been hiring like crazy people to build a team of editors, proofers, artists, and management to have everything running like the proverbial well-oiled machine.
In 2013, I was introduced to Pandamoon Publishing by a colleague, who thought my work deserved to be looked at for publication. I called and spoke with the CEO…(HI ZARA!) (waving)…and we discussed a lot of things, goals, ideas, and the like. I didn’t have to send in anything because my colleague that had introduced me, had already given the manuscript over for perusing. Not long after that conversation, I was offered a contract. Now, if anyone out there is an author like me…get my meaning, not my words…you’ve been letting family and friends read your work and they’ve always held glowing comments. Here I was, with a professional publishing company, being offered a contract, allowing me to be part of a stable of writers. This meant my work really was good enough. That remains one of the highlights of my life.
Along the way, July 2015 arrived and WHAM! I had a published book on the market! Another highlight to my life. Here’s the thing though, Pandamoon didn’t stop there. They’re constantly in contact, helping with all sorts of marketing and support for me, their trying-ever-so-hard-to-be humble writer. Stack on that, I’m writing Magehunter, which morphed into a series and all my fellow authors from PM, as well as Zara and the crew, are all cheering and supporting every step of the way. I’ve been a member of writer’s groups before and honestly, take ’em or leave ’em. Too many feelings to be hurt and criticism that’s agenda oriented mostly is what I found. With Pandamoon, their support and encouragement is more than a group of terrific writers to bounce ideas off of, but a readily available staff of market professionals than can help with what WORKS and what doesn’t.
So, I sing to thee, o’ Pandamoonians. Thine efforts to support mine own self and work tis appreciated and divinely sent. May thine business practices set the world on fire!
Ok, back to Magehunter……..
