The written word is transformative. It can demolish barriers. It can slay your enemies. The written word is truly mightier than the sword.
The sword still looks cool though.

I am now starting a blog about everything writing. Or at least mostly, I’m sure comments about my kids will sneak in here too. Nothing wrong with that.
Starting the next chapter in your project can be a truly daunting task. All those ideas rattling around in your head have to be captured, collated and squeezed out into a form that the reader can enjoy. The great part, at least for me, is that I get to read the story before my readers do, because my characters are telling me the story. I look forward to each chapter to find out what they’re going to do next and how they’ll overcome whatever obstacle is blocking them.
